All the distillery's buildings are built of cut Sireuil stone, giving it an incomparable luminosity. The family adventure of Distillerie des Moisans


It was in 1963 that Roland Bru bought a property in Sireuil and created the Distillerie des Moisans. Passionate about Cognac, Roland Bru had only one motivation: to establish Moisans Cognac as a little jewel. Shortly after his death in 1997, his two daughters took over the running of the distillery. The family tradition is based on constant, meticulous care of the wines, to guarantee delicate, supple cognacs with character. Sixty hectares make up the estate, half of which are planted in Fins Bois, an AOC Cognac region renowned for the finesse of its eaux-de-vie.

The cognac is made from late-harvested Ugni Blanc (the dominant grape variety). One generation follows another, all driven by the same passion for cognac and the same motivation as Roland Bru: Moisans Cognac must be an illustration of excellence, well beyond our borders. This objective has been achieved, with the export share of sales increasing 20-fold in two years!

DEAU Cognac: the range of exceptional cognacs in tribute to "the Alchemist"

In 1685, Charente winemaker Louis Deau discovered the alchemy of stills. Presented in contemporary, elegant decanters, each of these cognacs displays a singular personality. Nine emblematic cognacs, including DEAU Louis Memory (an out-of-age masterpiece), DEAU Napoleon Cigar Blend (for lovers of spirits and cigars), DEAU L.V.O "La Vie en Or" (a blend of very old Grande Champagne cognacs whose bottle is adorned with 24-carat gold leaf)...

The ROLAND BRU COGNAC range: in the image of the founder of Maison des Moisans

This brand's range of cognacs is representative of the personality of their creator: powerful, generous, spirited and subtle. Blended from prestigious eaux-de-vie, "Roland Bru XO" brings out subtle notes of sweet spices and fruit pastes; "Roland Bru Cognac Extra" will reveal notes of figs and apricots after aromas of dried fruits and spices.

COGNAC MOISANS: the expression of terroir, the identity of the domaine

Eight cognacs are available under this brand, all aged in cellars (mid-terroir or hillside). Christophe Gaudeville, Maître de chais, is in charge of distillation, ageing methods and the composition of blends.
