The winemaker

Pierre Jambon became a winegrower in 1890 out of a love for the vine. Passing on his passion to his son, Etienne, he passed on his know-how to his son and to future generations. In the commune of Saint-Lager, Dominique Jambon strives to carry on the legacy of his ancestors. He has also revitalized the domaine, creating new cuvées from pinot gris, viognier and beaujolais blanc. The Domaine des Maisons Neuves covers 40 hectares. The strength of the Beaujolais vineyards can be felt in their cuvée, considered to be the "best gamay in the world".
