Situated at the top of the slopes along the Dordogne, on a fine clay-limestone terroir on the edge of Saint-Emilion, this estate comprises 50 hectares, to which are added other tenanted vines, making a total of almost 100 hectares farmed under this label. Attention, there's a mistake in the name and the display: this is the second wine, Seigneur d'Aiguilhe!
Honest, but clearly below the château's first wine, which I adore. Will perhaps reveal itself in a few years.
