The winemaker

Domaine de la Mondette is a small family estate in the Côtes-de-Castillon appellation. The vines have been grown organically for 3 years. The vineyard covers 2.5 hectares in the commune of Les Salles-de-Castillon, just a few kilometers from the Saint-Emilion vineyards. Our organically farmed vineyards are surrounded by 9 hectares of meadows, forests and a pond, promoting biodiversity and providing a haven for local flora and fauna. Our gites enable us to welcome our visitors and offer wine tourism activities. Our Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are harvested by hand and carefully vinified in temperature-controlled vats, then aged in barrels for 12 months for the Château la Mondette cuvée.
