Château la MondetteEstimated delivery between 2 and May 3,
This wine is made from old vines of Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) and Merlot (60%) in their final year of organic conversion. Our grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with care, then aged for 12 months in barrels in our cellar. This elegant, complex wine (woody and fruity) has light, well-integrated tannins and good acidity, guaranteeing good ageing potential with a controlled alcohol level of 12.7°C.
"Born under the watchful eye of the estate's two donkeys, Aglaé and Sidonie, featured on the label, this wine is a successful blend of grapes from old Merlot vines (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%). The watchword here is not power, but gourmet finesse. The controlled ripening of the berries has produced a charming nose with delicate red fruit notes (strawberry, raspberry) and a hint of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine is dense and fresh, present and juicy, caressing and perfectly constituted. Carefully matured in barrels with little new wood (20%). Graceful and long. "
