The winemaker

With a history stretching back almost 500 years, Château Monbousquet has evolved and grown with each successive owner. The Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé acquired its reputation thanks to the Carles family between 1682 and 1882. They gave it its current size of 32 hectares and built the château's identity. The arrival of Chantal and Gérard Perse in 1993 breathed new life into the estate. They completely rethought the vineyard, from vine to cellar, with renovations and new ideas. This terroir and its heritage deliver authentic wines from Merlot (60%), Cabernet Franc (30%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), to delight your taste buds.
