This cuvée is the first wine of Château Vray Croix de Gay. It comes from two parcels: one close to the vines of Château Pétrus and the other near Trotanoy. The wine is thus influenced by a magnificent terroir and surrounded by two of the Pomerol appellation's greatest names. Every year, Château Vray Croix de Gay offers us a bottle with aromas of black fruits and violets, to be opened on the finest tables and cellared for many years.

Tasting notes

Appearance

Pomerols are usually dark ruby in color, with violet highlights when young, and brick hues as they age.

Aroma

The bouquet is often rich and complex, with notes of black and red fruits. Empyreumatic notes are also present, with leather, roasting and a hint of vanilla.
