It's the estate's secondary cuvée, a common practice in Bordeaux wines that allows consumers to make excellent bargains. Amiral de Beychevelle has a deep garnet-red color. The nose is empyreumatic, with coffee and truffle aromas. On the palate, it's supple and full of red fruit, with a long, round finish.
