The village of rully has existed since antiquity. Its wines have long been highly appreciated. The rully appellation remains an essential part of the Côte Chalonnaise, particularly that of domaine faiveley, whose wines have acquired a fine reputation around the world.
The wine:50% of the wine is aged in oak barrels for 16 months, and the other half in vats. It is composed of 100% chardonnay. It has a bright, pale yellow color. On the palate, aromas of ripe fruit combined with woody notes make this a complex wine. This wine retains a certain freshness, is round and delicately acidic.
Ageing and food pairing:this rully "les villeranges" can be kept for another 3 to 5 years. To accompany your salmon en papillotte, or your vegetable terrine, this wine will delight you wonderfully.
