This small village of 210 hectares of vines north of the Côte de Nuits produces some of Burgundy's most famous red wines, such as Romanée Conti and Richebourg. The communes of Vosne Romanée and Flagey Echezeaux are both eligible for the Vosne Romanée appellation. Our 30- to 40-year-old, east-facing vines thrive on brown, predominantly limestone soils on highly fissured, rocky limestone, allowing for better water drainage.
