The winemaker

Domaine du Clos Frantin covers 13 ha, including 8 of Premiers and Grands Crus. Fertilizers and herbicides were replaced with compost and plowing. Respect soil, severe pruning and green harvest if necessary allow to obtain a high-quality fruit and scarce. In a historical building at the entrance of Nuits-Saint-Georges are vinified wines of the Domaine and red wines from purchased grapes, with the Côte de Nuits to dominant origin. In the winery, the work gravity replaced the mechanical operations to meet the quality and the aromatic potential of the grapes. The medieval vaulted cellar is home to 700 rooms at a constant temperature of 13 ° and humidity perfect for optimal breeding.
