The winemaker

In 1493, the area hosted a captain in the French army and garrison Sieur de Massiac, son of the Lord of Massiac, a native of Cantal. He defended the Franco-Spanish border before finally settling on the field and there give his name. His family settled down gradually and built a castle that was burned to the French revolution. On its ruins were built the winery and the current buildings. Our family recovered this area abandoned in 1988. Today, parents and children work together.
