In a few words ...

This cuvée is the result of a final plot-by-plot selection of our old Carignan-Grenache-Syrah and Mourvèdre vines, aged in oak barrels. This confidential production wine (70 to 100 barrels per vintage) deserves to be decanted before tasting. Grapes from the oldest vines, usually in goblet shape, from the coolest terroirs. Extraction is gentle and precise, on perfectly ripe grapes. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks gives structure and length to the palate, resulting in a wine of great finesse. 70% of the cuvée is aged for 12 months in 225-liter new or 1-wine barrels. This Grande Réserve, with its silky tannins, is full-bodied but never heavy, stretched by the freshness of its terroir. The bouquet develops over the course of the tasting, revealing notes of leather, chocolate, alongside red berries and floral notes. The fresh finish lingers on the palate for many seconds, beckoning you to return to the wine!
