Carrière pradal - domaine de la massole 2018carrière pradal is located between béziers and pézenas, in the languedoc. The estate is run by catherine and baptiste pradal. In the 1980s, a major project to improve the vineyard was undertaken, with the aim of reducing the risk of disease;pages and replace them with pre-phylloxera varieties (grenache blanc and noir, mourvèdre and syrah). The estate stretches across a single block of vines, olive groves, garrigues and forests. Aided by the syndicat de l’eau de l’hérault, they are taking part in an agroforestry project, i.e. a progressive tree-planting campaign, adding hedges of trees and various shrubs. They also have several beehives on the estate, promote biodiversity and are in the process of converting to organic farming.Domaine de la Massole is a blend of Syrah (50%), Grenache (30%) and Mourvèdre (20%) from old vines. After hand-picking, the harvest is grape-picked on arrival at the winery. Pumping over is limited. The wine is racked, then leavened in stainless steel tanks until bottling on the following day.cépages : 50% syrah, 30% grenache, 20% mourvèdre
