Made from Chenin grapes harvested when overripe, our Coteaux du Layon expresses all the richness of the Loire terroir. The grapes, concentrated by noble rot, give birth to a sweet wine of great finesse, with a golden color and velvety mouthfeel. Controlled ageing reveals a complex palette of aromas: honey, candied fruit, apricot, quince, white flowers, supported by a natural freshness that balances the sweetness. This wine is an elegant accompaniment to foie gras, blue-veined cheeses and fruity desserts, or can be enjoyed on its own.

I was lucky enough to stay in the region and visit Domaine du Pont de Livier - a wonderful discovery! The welcome was warm, and the winemaker's passion is evident in every cuvée.
The Coteaux du Layon is a real nugget: gourmand, balanced, with a lovely freshness that makes it perfect as an aperitif or with cheese. And what about the Cabernet d'Anjou? Fruity, supple, ideal for summer meals or convivial moments.
An estate that deserves to be known - authentic, generous wines that are faithful to the terroir. I recommend it without hesitation!

Domaine du Pont de Livier's Coteaux du Layon is a real nugget. Beautiful golden color, intense nose of honey, apricot and candied fruit. Round and balanced on the palate, with a freshness that avoids heaviness. Perfect with foie gras, blue cheese or even solo as an aperitif. A generous wine that perfectly reflects the Loire Valley. Bravo to the domaine!
