The winemaker

For over three generations, the family operates the vineyard MERIEAU Hood Vaudons, which now extends over 35 hectares. The vines thrive on the hillside on the left bank of the Cher, with south-south-east. These rich and complex soils give rise to a range of wines varied with multiple colors. Jean-François MERIEAU leading the field since 2000 and aims to rediscover territories of Loir-et-Cher by placing the human in the center: working soil plowing, size and vintage hand rhythm of life its vineyards. A troglodyte cave has been added to the field in 2001, the barrels are finding ideal conditions for maturing wine.
