In a few words ...

A great Malbec and a Cahors benchmark. The vines grow on the gravelly hilltops surrounding the château, on the third terraces of the communes of Caillac and Mercuès. Planting density is very high, at 6666 vines per hectare. This siliceous-clay terroir is ideal for growing vines, producing concentrated wines with great ageing potential.
