In a few words ...
This is an expressive, lively wine. After opening with blackcurrant, prune and black olive, it evolves into a richer bouquet, with hints of rosemary and cinnamon. Freshness dominates the palate, accompanied by a fine, dense tannic structure. A pleasant sweetness, as much gustatory as aromatic, accompanies the wine on its long finish, with surprising notes of elderflower and peppermint. While still young, it will enjoy grilled lamb chops, squash, mushroom and Parmesan risotto... Later, it will appreciate red meat in sauce as much as refined vegetarian cuisine. Drink now or cellar for a few years.
