The winemaker

The family farm was traditionally devoted to mixed farming with livestock, berries and grapes to the cooperative winery. From 1985 onwards, the estate turned exclusively to viticulture. Jean-Bernard Larrieu cultivates his vines, vinifies the grapes, ages the wines, bottles and markets them. Lapeyre was born! By 2000, the vineyard had grown to around 10 hectares. In 2004, it expanded with the acquisition of the Domaine de Nays-Labassère, a magnificent 7-hectare vineyard in the heart of Chapelle-de-Rousse.
