The winemaker

For a long time, gros manseng was in the majority on the estate. Christian realized the qualitative potential of Petit Manseng and decided to plant more and more of it. In 1985, he became one of the first winemakers to create a wine made from 100% Petit Manseng. As its name suggests, this grape variety produces very little (30 hl max). However, the nobility of Jurançon lies in this grape variety. It produces wines that are more concentrated, but also more elegant and complex. Its wines are racy, straightforward and pure. The estate has 8 ha of petit manseng, 3 ha of gros manseng and 0.8 ha of petit courbu.
