The winemaker

The history of Domaine Sergent


Located in the heart of the Madiran region, Domaine Sergent was run by Gilbert Dousseau for many years. He passed on his passion and love of wine to his daughters, who took over the reins 20 years ago. Today, Brigitte and Corinne Dousseau proudly carry on their father's work.

The characteristics of Domaine Sergent's terroir and vineyards


The vineyard covers 21 hectares and includes vines that are 35 years old on average. The vineyard is divided into two distinct terroirs. There is the Saint Lanne terroir with its clayey, stony soil, where intense wines are produced, and the Maumusson terroir, also known as the Grepp soil, where more concentrated wines are produced.

Many of our wines are produced to the highest standards. At Domaine Sergent, several cuvées are produced with passion. There's the Madiran wine, comprising three cuvées. Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, with three cuvées. And the Béarn et Côtes de Gascogne wine, also with three different cuvées. So, de domaine viticole offers a wide range of wines that are highly appreciated in the region.
