Our Selection becomes Opus, which means "Work, work", to emphasize the construction style of the hourdé pebble house and make a direct link with our stony soils rich in river pebbles. You'll find this new name on our new label. Chateau Lastours has created this cuvée, the fruit of a selection of our best "vieilles vignes" plots, sublimated by a 12-month ageing in French oak barrels. Each year, the wine's full-bodied, full-bodied qualities develop, allowing its lightly vanilla-flavored fruit aromas, supported by mellow, smoky tannins, to express themselves. A wine for laying down (7 to 10 years, depending on the vintage). It can be drunk from its third year.

This is a full bodied and very smooth wine which is absolutely delicious, rivalling wines twice the price. It is suitable for most red meats, but we enjoy drinking it on its own. Wonderful!
