Divino Mundi à ChillyEstimated delivery between 10 and Dec 12,
au capcèu", meaning "at the zenith" in reference to the place where this cuvée originated, expresses the grandeur and strength of the sweet wines of the Pyrenean foothills. Here, the Petit-Manseng grape has benefited from a vineyard architecture (high altitude terraces) that favors passerillage (concentration through wilting) and careful sorting by the pickers, to harvest berries that are at an advanced stage of over-ripeness, until late autumn. Great art. This 2023 is in line with previous vintages of this cuvée: its aromatic aestheticism is tinged with candied fruits such as fig, apricot, tangerine... With ageing, it evolves towards honeyed, even truffled notes. To be enjoyed with relish at its various stages of ageing, over at least 20 years. 100% petit-manseng. Vines located on the top of the hill, between 290 and 325m, mainly cultivated on terraces facing south/southeast. Aged for 15 months in oak barrels.
