Appearance
Deep, limpid, fairly brilliant color. Morello cherry color with garnet highlights.
Aroma
Pleasant, moderate nose. On ripe fruit and light oak. Closed nose of red fruits, white fruits, cedar, a hint of animal and hydrocarbons.
Taste
Fairly pleasant on the palate. Leaky attack. Full, silky mouthfeel. Lots of bitterness. The oak is still too present. Intense, firm tannins. Medium finish, harsh and acidic (lemony).
