The Antinori family has been winemaking for over 600 years. Today the estate Marchesi Antinori is directed by Marchese Piero Antinori and his three daughters Albiera, Allegra and Alessia, all very committed to the family vineyard. Tradition, passion and intuition are the slogans that led Marchesi Antinori to become one of Italy's areas. Through its history and 26 generations the Antinori family has maintained direct control over its field keeping its land and its traditions intact. The winemaker says thus: "The old vines have an important role in the philosophy of the house, but they have never held back our innovative spirit. "
