This exceptional hillside dominates RIQUEWIHR to the north and stretches from west to east at an altitude ranging from 280 m to 380 m. Its south-facing aspect, siliceous and marly soil, and clay-limestone subsoil, rich in fertilizing elements, make it an excellent RIESLING soil.
