Braastad Pineau des Charentes is a blend of specially selected eaux-de-vie from the Fin Bois cru (ugni blanc grape variety) and freshly pressed grape musts (cabernet franc grape variety). These eaux-de-vie and musts come from a plot adjacent to Château de Triac, owned by Maison Tiffon. The white wine is distilled twice in our Jarnac distillery, in our Charentais stills, to produce cognac eau-de-vie. These eaux-de-vie are aged for two years in Limousin oak barrels in the Château de Triac cellars. They are then blended with grape must and aged for three years in oak barrels, bringing quality, roundness and delicacy to Braastad Pineau des Charentes.
