 Alain Bovis, a famous Parisian gallery owner, was looking for a magical place to make wine, and he settled on the exceptional site of La Clape!

A bar of limestone rock with an ancient geology perched at an altitude of 160 m, a temperate climate thanks to its proximity to the sea, a plateau of Cretaceous scree that smells of garrigue... in short, all the natural elements come together at Figuières to achieve viticultural excellence.

Alain Bovis has devoted himself to upgrading the vines and modernizing the winery, with his experienced team to produce great wines. These efforts have been rewarded with gold medals and excellent ratings from the famous wine critic Jancis Robinson.

Repris depuis 2018 par Guillaume et Marine de Rosnay, ainsi que leurs 6 enfants, le domaine familial de Rochefort est situé, à quelques kilomètres au sud de Nantes, sur la commune de La Haye Fouassière. Depuis cette date, toute la famille est à fond pour donner une nouvelle jeunesse à ce domaine centenaire et pour produire des vins blancs haut de gamme de grande qualité. 

Ce sont des vins à l’image de ce terroir : ils allient finesse et élégance, avec des arômes très minéraux et d’une grande fraîcheur, tout en conservant une belle longueur en bouche.
