In a few words ...
A 50-hectare vineyard, 80 owners, a terroir revealed 9 centuries ago by Cistercian monks, a famous Tastevin brotherhood... Clos de Vougeot is Burgundy in a nutshell! But we mustn't forget that Clos de Vougeot is above all a unique terroir. Our parcels are planted on brown limestone and brown calcareous scree soils, facing East/South-East. As a whole, Le Clos is a single grand cru, but with a number of subtleties. These different facets define the specificity of each property, but the basic fabric of the terroir remains common to all.

Appearance
Beautiful ruby color with burgundy highlights.
Aroma
A full and varied aromatic palette of red and black berries. Over the years, it develops notes of blond tobacco and tea.
