Our Tasting Box includes three 20 cl bottles of the oldest cognacs in the unique DEAU cognac collection: DEAU XO: Our House's benchmark, DEAU XO cognac is a blend of eaux-de-vie mainly from the Petite Champagne and Fin Bois crus. The youngest of these eaux-de-vie have aged a minimum of ten years in oak barrels. Our DEAU XO cognac has an amber color with mahogany highlights, giving off aromas of flowers and candied fruit: jasmine, violets, prunes and cinnamon. The balance and power of this cognac are perfectly mastered. DEAU BLACK EXTRA: DEAU Black Extra is a blend of eaux-de-vie mainly from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. Black refers to the black color of the tasting glasses used by the cellar master to select the eaux-de-vie. Its eaux-de-vie are aged rapidly in new barrels and for over ten years in red barrels. A fresh, aromatic Cognac with spicy notes of dried apricot and ginger, blending perfectly with woody notes. DEAU LOUIS MEMORY: DEAU Louis Memory Hors d'âge is a blend of exceptional old eaux-de-vie, mainly from Grande Champagne. This supreme DEAU Louis Memory cognac honors the memory of Louis DEAU, born 1685 in the Cognac region. A rare and unique blend, it reveals a great aromatic richness on the palate: dried fruit, honey, cigar box, vanilla, cinnamon, the rich and generous palate is exceptionally long.
