The winemaker

Domaine Montahuc is a small vineyard of 12 hectares, located in the commune of Saint Jean de Minervois at an altitude of 280 m, in the Languedoc region at the foot of the Montagne Noire. The Domaine, which has been in existence since 1990, has always been run organically! Its story really began in 2005, when long-time friends Julian and Michel decided to buy it together. For 15 years, Domaine de Montahuc produced exclusively Muscat en Vin Doux Naturel, and 2 years in a row, the estate was awarded the gold medal at the Best Muscat in the World competition. In 2019, the new generation takes over and decides to expand the range with a dry white "Prélude" and a red "Canyon de l'Eglise", cuvées in the image of their terroir and always produced with the greatest respect for the environment.
