In a few words ...
Our estate comprises around 3 hectares in the Châteaumeillant appellation, itself located at the eastern end of the Loire vineyards. The origins of vines in Châteaumeillant date back to the 5th century AD. The grapes for this vin gris come from hillside vineyards on very light, sandy soils of sedimentary origin (schist, sandstone and gneiss). Vinification: 100% hand-harvesting, followed by further sorting of the grapes before direct pressing to capture the most delicate aromas of fresh fruit, in keeping with the tradition of Châteaumeillant vin gris.
