On a vineyard planted at the beginning of the 20th century, some fifteen kilometers from Cahors, Julien and Sophie Ilbert produce fruity, fresh and balanced organic wines in AOP Cahors and IGP Côtes du Lot. The family estate was created by Julien's father in the 1990s when he left the Cave Coopérative. In 2013, the couple converted the entire estate to organic farming, and it now benefits from the Ecocert label. Find out more

The winemaker

Located on the plateau of Cournou, Château Combel la Serre is a family estate of which stands 300 meters above sea level. It is run by a father and his son, Jean-Pierre and Julien llbert, striving constantly to seek the fruit and freshness in their wines. The vineyard has 26 hectares of vines grown according to the values ​​of organic agriculture since 2013, showing their intention to respect the land bequeathed to them. Combel Château la Serre has a winery and a quality barrel cellar to provide the care needed for the production of wines combining aromatic complexity and freshness.
