The winemaker

The Domaine de Capelanel vineyard covers 14 hectares of siderolithic terroir on the Causse de Fages. Our family business was founded in 1878. I represent the 5th generation to run this vineyard. This know-how, combined with an excellent terroir, enables me to produce complex, fruity wines with finesse and minerality. Domaine entirely in Bio/Biodynamic conversation. Malbec power, indigenous yeasts, aged in amphora and foudre (500L).
