Penfolds is an Australian wine producer founded in Adelaide in 1844 by Christopher Rawson Penfold, an English doctor who emigrated to Australia, and his wife Mary Penfold. It is one of Australia's oldest vineyards. This cuvée is a refined version of the classic South Australian blend, 2/3 Syrah, 1/3 Cabernet Sauvignon. Its retro packaging is a tribute to the famous 1976 Koonunga Hill "Claret", and incorporates Penfolds' historic savoir-faire.
