The winemaker

The winery was founded in 1901 as a cooperative "Vine" and after a hundred years of history of winemaking in 2002, it became part of the French holding company "Belvedere". A distinctive feature of chistosortovite Domain Menada wines are Sauvignon and Merlot, as well as their good combination in mixtures with local varieties such as Rubin and Mavrud. The wines are aged in barrels of Bulgarian Strandja, Californian and French oak barrels. CAVE Domain Menada has three plants with a total production capacity of 20 million. bottles per year. In the field Menada 5 October 2004 were officially opened new facilities for processing 8,000 tons of white and red grapes.
