The 1er Cru Vaillons is hand-harvested, as are all our 1er Crus & Grands Crus. Generally, we pick these parcels a few days before the 1er Cru Vaulignot, as the Vaillons produces smaller berries that are riper and more concentrated due to the sun exposure and age of the vines. This Premier Cru is a very fruity wine with delicate, fresh notes of white fruit (apple, pear), combining minerality, fruitiness and elegance.
