The estate / the house / the cellar:
the sallette family has been passing on their passion for wine for generations. At their château bégadan in the heart of the médoc, they marvelously combine innovative and traditional methods to produce quality wines.
the wine:a skilful blend of 60% cabernet sauvignon and 40% merlot, the cru bourgeois médoc reveals black fruit aromas with woody accents. On the palate, rounded tannins and a long finish combine suppleness and fullness. These are the key characteristics that make this Bordeaux red wine so original.
Ageing and food pairing:this red wine is ready to drink, but can be kept for another 3 years. It is best enjoyed with grilled beef, cassoulet, maroilles, veal kidneys bordelaise or a cheese platter.
