The Château Bertin vineyard is located in the commune of Lussac and bears the Appellation Lussac Saint-Emilion Contrôlée. Right in the center of Lussac, next to the village's elementary school, the plot is set in the middle of the village, as is Château Haut Brion, in Pessac Léognan. The Château Bertin terroir is a magnificent single plot located on the most beautiful south-facing slope in the appellation: a terroir with extraordinary potential. The garnet-red color shows some signs of evolution, while the bouquet is dominated by toasty and vanilla scents born of wood ageing. The supple, well-balanced palate is supported by round, mellow tannins.
