In a few words ...

Terroir in all its grandeur and modesty! When Marcel Quancard bought the property from an old winegrower in 1978, he patiently rebuilt the vineyard while preserving the soul of the place and of his wine. 12 km north of Saint-Emilion, Château Bonfort has become a small 4-hectare jewel, a sanctuary for the appellation's distinctive qualities, a concentration of the flavors so typical of the Saint-Emilion region. Tasting notes : a beautiful color, a lovely floral nose enhanced by woody scents. On the palate, the wine is taut, lively and deep, thanks to the dominant Cabernet. This wine can be drunk immediately, and has good ageing potential. Pairings : Enjoy with poultry, red meat or hard cheese.
