Château de Camensac is a 5th Cru Classé in the Haut-Médoc region, covering 75 hectares. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are the two dominant grape varieties, with 60% and 40% of vines planted. This cuvée stands out for its black fruit aromas and spicy notes on the palate.
"Merlot (45%) is almost on a par with Cabernet Sauvignon in this deep purple 2011. Still discreet, the bouquet shows incipient complexity and a good alliance of fruitiness with toasty oak. The palate continues in the same vein, revealing good extraction and real class. "
