A fine discovery, a powerful Syrah with a long finish, a wine of great quality that can still wait to reveal its full potential.

Spicy notes, licorice and toast mingle with jammy fruit. Good body, round on the palate, mellow tannins, good length, aromatic finish.

Another fine wine from Gérard Bertrand. Powerful yet fine, with lovely ripe, fruity aromas and hints of cocoa. Tannins present and assertive. Well-balanced.

Tested wine. To be cellared for a few more years or oxygenated the day before. Very good, but not yet at its peak.
