In a few words ...

"although there is evidence of viticulture dating back to the 15th century, the aoc pessac-léognan is a relatively recent appellation, having been founded in 1987, although its ancient terroir dates back to the Middle Ages. Located to the southwest of Bordeaux, the appellation comprises all the Graves Grand Cru Classés and produces mainly red wine. In Pessac-Léognan, quality is the order of the day, but 2018 will be a rare vintage for the appellation. The reds impress with their scope, while the whites seduce with their balance. Not to be missed!
