Owned by the Bouygues family since 2006, this 2nd Cru Classé is one of Saint-Estèphe's most prestigious estates, sought after for its unfailing consistency. Montrose produces a wine of great class, racy in its aromatic expression, with a tight, silky tannic structure. Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth.
Aroma
The bouquet reveals notes of cassis, violet, mocha, vanilla, spices and licorice.
