    Tasting notes

    Appearance

Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth.

    Taste

The wines of Saint-Estèphe have strong tannins and thus reach their maturity more slowly than most other medals. They offer black fruits, a note of freshness, often a woody or smoky aspect and a floral touch.

A very good wine! Very intense color, good length on the palate. Supple, light and fresh. Luscious and round. Goes very well with lamb!

A very good Médocain! Exceptional vintage... silky tannins and beautiful aromatic persistence on the palate... Two more years in the cellar

I enjoyed this wine, except for TWO bottles - it can happen, I'm told! Despite my complaint, it seems that the shipper is unwilling to make even a token gesture. My order was for 12 bottles. I'm thinking about what to do, while I wait to hear from them.

A powerful, delicious, intense and deep wine. Its quality justifies its price. I highly recommend it.
