In a few words ...
On the Grands Crus road, the commune of Flagey-Echezeaux is home to an exclusively Grands Crus appellation, including our "Champs traversins" parcel. Its etymology comes from the word "Chezeaux", which refers to a group of hamlets in the surrounding area. The vineyard is planted on very stony brown limestone soils on hard Bathonian limestone. On very light soil with a steep slope, our parcel faces east at an altitude of 300 meters, ensuring plenty of sunshine.
