The winemaker

Its geographical location at the junction between the Germanic and Roman influences, makes its identity sheltered from oceanic influence by the mountains of the Vosges mountains, Alsace enjoys one of the lowest rainfall in France (only 400-500mm per year) and a semi-continental climate, weather, warm and dry. Placed on sub-Vosges mountains, at an altitude of 200 and 400 meters, vineyards derive maximum benefits from their exposure to the sun, especially when they are located on steep hillsides.
