After working alongside eloi durbach at domaine de trevallon and then alain graillot at domaine de fa, marc delienne bought a property in fleurie in january 2015 to set up his new business. A winery was quickly built, and the conversion to organic viticulture began immediately, with the aim of acquiring organic certification as soon as possible. The vines, aged from 40 to over 80 years, are planted at a density of 11,000 vines/ha, on predominantly sandy or silty-sandy soils derived from primary rock (granite) or ancient alluvium, with a sometimes very stony cover and shallow to medium depth. Traditional goblet pruning is used here, although the vines are trained to increase the height of the vegetation. Regular, shallow tilling of the soil, special care for the vegetation in season, and biodynamic viticulture are essential features of the estate's cultivation methods. Vinification is carried out as gently and naturally as possible. The concrete vats are filled with whole grapes, after rigorous sorting, without yeasting or chaptalization. The
