Morgon, a famous Beaujolais cru, lends exceptional power to the wines it produces. Morgon "Les Charmes" has the fruitiness of the great Beaujolais and the rich, fine expression of Burgundy wines. The plots are located on gently sloping hillsides with south-east exposure. The grapes are harvested by hand on these slopes, de-stemmed, and follow a classic winemaking itinerary. The wine is aged for 12 months in barrels, 12% of which are new.
