The winemaker

Château La Croix Romane was so named by the Dubard family in tribute to the wealth of local history. The Lalande de Pomerol church, very close to the field and built in the twelfth century, indeed belongs to art novel that defines, in art history, the period from 1030 to half of the twelfth century . It was under the auspices of the hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (Knights of Malta) it was erected, around which the Maltese Cross has remained iconic in the Libourne. The Dubard family, since its takeover of the Castle in 2008, account wear the colors of the Appellation Lalande de Pomerol, strong technical expertise and high quality soil. Martin Solveig, family member and artist recognized on the international music scene, joined the project and sharing this enthusiasm in the revival of vintage.
